On February 25th, 2018 Jen Ripple, editor of Dun Magazine was in town to do a History of Women in Fly Fishing presentation sponsored by Straight Outta Cotter Guide Service at Commercial Lodge

On Sunday, Feb. 26th, Sara Thorne and Kim Frantom organized a brunch with Jen and the ladies of TU as part of our Women's Initiative program. Eighteen Trout Chicks, and 3 WI Chairs from other TU Chapters attended.

Everyone introduced themselves and shared a little personal history before the meal. There was no assigned seating, but everyone seemed to gravitate to tables that turned out to be good fits.  All the ladies had good things to share.

WI Chairs were offered time to discuss what they had going on in their Chapters and community that we might be interested in.

Swag from the hosting Chapter # 698 was offered (Bonneville coffee mugs, log water bottles, TU stickers, logo fly boxes, tippet, leaders, and 1 lanyard)

DUN Magazine is a fly-fishing magazine written for women. Copies were offered and purchased by attendees.  Jen was gracious enough sign our copies.
